I'm thrilled to announce that Maker Calc is now free for everyone! After careful consideration and feedback from our amazing community of makers, we've decided to make the core calculating functionality of Maker Calc free to use forever.

What's Free?

The core calculating functionality that has made Maker Calc the go-to measurement calculator for craftsmen is now available to everyone at no cost. This means you can perform all your essential measurement calculations without any limitations.

Maker Calc Pro

For users who need advanced features, Maker Calc Pro remains available as a paid option, including:

• Precision rounding
• Live conversions
• Full equation history

What's New in This Version?

1. Precision Detail View

We've introduced a new "Precision detail" view that shows where your result falls on a tape-measure style display, complete with decimals and fractions. This visual representation makes it even easier to understand your measurements in context.

2. Enhanced Copy & Paste

You can now copy and paste:

• Decimal results
• Fraction results
• Full equations

3. Smarter Conversions

Tapping on any value in the list of conversions will now automatically populate that value in the display, making it easier to work with different measurement units.

4. Improved Input Controls

• The "C" button now removes one item at a time for more precise control
• Long-press the "9" numerator to input a 0, enabling numerators of 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50
• Added precision rounding for MM settings

5. Performance Improvements

We've made extensive architecture updates to make the app launch significantly faster, ensuring you can get the results you need quickly and efficiently.
